About

Alexandra was born in Emden Germany. At age eleven, she moved to London with her parents and three siblings. She lived in Hackney throughout most of her teenage years before moving to Lancashire in 2001. Later, in 2002 she moved back to London where she worked as a Dental Nurse until her early 20s, before taking a year from work to birth her first child.

Alexandra has been a passionate reader all her life and grew up around books and made up stories. She wrote her first poem when she was five and wrote her first short story at age eleven. When asked at school what her dream job would be as an adult, she declared that one day she would become a writer and that she would publish her first novel by retirement age.

Her debut novel called The Girl from the Lake, will be released Autumn of this year. Alexandra is currently writing several other books which she hopes to publish over the coming years. 

​

When Alexandra is not busy writing or with her head buried between the pages of a book she is often found enjoying long walks in the country side with her family and friends, or enjoying a picnic  by the sea side. She has a great passion for photography and has always vowed to take as many photos as possible for her children, leaving them with endless memories caught in a moment that would otherwise be lost forever in time.
